Admin 2The Sixth Annual Scholarship Musical was held on May 6, 2017, at Open Door Community Church where Dr. Rick Rogers is the pastor. Dr. Rogers gave the welcome and introduced the Mistress of Ceremony, Dr. Miranda Manning, Counselor at Dillon School District Four.
Admin 2Lorene Arnette, of Dillon has been awarded three ribbons for her quilt entered in the 2017 Swamp Fox Quilters Guild Challenge, “Granny’s Block Today.”

Admin 2The Parris Island Marine Band sponsored by the Dillon County Council performed “A Christmas Spectacular” at the Ellis Performing Arts Center in Latta, S.C., on Monday, Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m.
Admin 2Mayor Davis spoke about the Dillon County Theatre being flooded at a recent Dillon City Council meeting. He said he had reached out to the Dillon County Council to decide what can be done.
Admin 2The Dillon County Theatre has been awarded an $1829 operating support for small organizations grant by the South Carolina Arts Commission for the 2016-17 fiscal year.
Admin 2A TASTE OF DILLON COUNTY AT THE RANCH was held on Thursday, September 29, at Buckhead Ranch. Tickets were limited to 100 guests. They were treated to a five-course dinner prepared by many of Dillon County’s finest chefs.
Admin 2Dillon Historic School Foundation will soon organize a DHS Graduates’ Choir.
Admin 2Dillon High School Band Banquet was held on Thursday, May 5, at 7:00 p.m. at Brandi’s Banquet Hall.
