The February Lunch Bunch Book Club at Dillon Middle School met in the school’s media center on Thursday, February 27. There were 17 students present, along with Media Specialist Marcia Bethea and Mr. Travis Jackson, who represented one of the school’s business partners.
Students attending the meeting had all read the featured book, Crow by Barbara Wright, which has been nominated for this year’s South Carolina Junior Book Award. Students discussed the book, which earned 14 thumbs ups, and enjoyed lunch, which included a beautiful cake (at right) decorated with a representation of the book’s cover.
