The Dillon Wildcats hosted Waccamaw in the season ender on Wednesday night and then in a region tiebreaker game that was delayed from Friday to Saturday night.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11

In the second quarter, Waccamaw’s #5 Jack Dwyer passes to #1 Karim Stanley, who scores but is fouled. Stanley sinks the free throw, but Dillon’s #23 CJ Sowells responds with a basket to put Dillon up 31-13.
Waccamaw’s #20 Justin Busby goes to the free throw line for a miss, but tosses one in moments later. But Dillon’s #31 Lawrence Crouch hits a shot to keep the Wildcats up 34-15.

Near the end of the second quarter, Waccamaw sinks a basket to trail 34-17, but Dillon’s #31 Lawrence Crouch sinks a three-pointer, and #24 Joe Manning scores as time expires to put Dillon up 39-17 heading into the half.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14

With 2:44 remaining in regulation play, Waccamaw scores and then goes to the free throw line, but Dillon’s JaQuan Knowlin sinks a basket to put Dillon up 57-49.

With just two minutes left on the clock in regulation play, Waccamaw sinks two free throws and a basket to close the gap to 57-53.

Dillon’s #43 JaQuan Knowlin sinks a free throw, but misses on his second trip to the line, and Waccamaw’s Kenley Vereen scores a three-pointer with 55 seconds left in regulation to cut Dillon’s lead to 58-56.
