Justin Ballew joined Clemson Extension Jan. 5 as an agent in Dillon County. He’ll focus on horticulture in Marion County and agronomy in Dillon County.
The Columbia native is a 2011 graduate of Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education.
Ballew previously worked with Clemson Extension in Lexington County as a research technician before leaving to earn his master’s degree in plant protection and pest management from the University of Georgia. After receiving his master’s degree in 2013, Ballew worked with the Georgia Extension for a year before returning to Clemson. He will be a valuable asset to Clemson Extension.
