Lake View’s Lady Wild Gators earned a 50-45 win over the Lady Warriors of Creek Bridge on Friday night in Lake View in girls varsity basketball action.

Na’Kedra Page led the Gators with a game-high 17 points and Jasmine Ford added 12 points in the win. Olivia McDaniel scored nine points, and Diayah Williams and Toni Nash each added six.

Creek Bridge was led by Shay B., Danielle G., and Jakaysia D. with seven points each. Kayla R. and Shakerrah S. each scored six points; Rion G., 5; Antonia R., 3; Stasia D., 2; and Aaliyah P., 2.

Lake View improved to 8-7 overall and 2-6 in Region 8-A while Creek Bridge slipped to 0-8 on the season.

The Lady Gators are tied with Green Sea Floyds at 2-6 in the region. Lake View will host the Trojans tonight at 6:00 p.m., and on Thursday night, the Gators will travel to Carvers Bay to take on the Bears, who are currently second in the region.

The Class A girls basketball state playoffs are set to begin on Monday, February 16, with the top two teams in each region hosting.
