Kenneth Wayne Ricks, 62, died at his home, Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M., Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.
Mr. Ricks was born in Columbia, SC November 2, 1952, the son of Mary Helen Smith Ricks and the late Jessie Tillman Ricks. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Ricks graduated from Florence Darlington Technical College with Associates Degrees in Drafting and Tool & Die. Wayne retired as an electrician.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Helen Smith Ricks of Dillon, SC; brother, Andy Ricks (Heather) of Greenwood, SC; sister, Betty R. Hubbard (Jim) of Lumberton, NC; nephews, Chris Hubbard and Patrick Ricks; nieces, Cassie Mozingo and Brittany Hubbard; and constant companions, Harley and Ella. He was predeceased by his siblings, Jerry Ricks and Faye Ricks.
