The South Carolina Junior Golf Association’s Pee Dee Chapter golfers got a bit of a break after their June 24 stop at Governors Run was rained out, but they were back in action on Tuesday, July 8, at Traces Golf Club in Florence for the next tournament in the Hootie & the Blowfish Summer Tour.

In the Boys 15–18 to division, Michael Rials earned the win with a 74 with Harrison Breeden taking second with a 75 and James Kent McDaniel earning a 76 for third. Christian Owens and Zack Tanner tied for fourth with a 77, and Luke Freeman took sixth with a 79.

Dylan Dickerson finished seventh with an 80; Mac Gandy, 83; Zachary Owens, 85; Justin Muller, 87; and Max Holcombe, 91.

In the Boys 13-14, Rylee Goff shot a 73 to lead the field with Stone Godbold shooting a 79 for second. Cameron Mills shot a 97 for third, followed by Brock Patterson with a 106 and Cody Collier with a 111. Dillon’s Ryan Stephens shot a 112 for sixth place, and Luke Parrott and John Matthews rounded out the field with a 113 and 123.

In the 10-12 division, Caleb Henson shot a 37 for first place, with Gene Zeigler in second with a 38. James Potter and Pake June tied for third with a 42, and Michael Hobbs, Arthur Siegal, and Nathan Collier had a three-way tie for fifth with a 45. Lake View’s Dylan Rogers finished eighth with a 48, and Tanner Stokes followed with a 51, with William Phipps in tenth with a 53.

In the Boys 8-9, Tristen McKay shot a 37 for the lead, followed by Jay Smith with a 39. Thomas Davis and Jonah Willson tied for third with a 48.

In girls action, Lake View’s Ashley Rogers led the 14-18 division with a 93. Ashley Miller took second with a 110, and Kiana Baker shot a 118 for third.

In the Girls 8-10, Camila Burnett shot a 42 for first place, and Dillon’s Brenna Miller shot a 56 for second. Cayleigh Goff took third with a 64.

Sophia Burnett was the lone player in the 11-13 division, shooting a 38.

The Pee Dee Chapter was scheduled to play at Dusty Hills Country Club in Marion today and will be at Palms Course at Oakdale next Tuesday, July 22. The tour will stop at Lake City Country Club on Thursday, July 24, and then the Pee Dee Tour Championship will begin on Thursday, July 31, at Florence Country Club.
