Dillon’s Lady Wildcats reclaimed the top spot in Class 2A in the latest South Carolina Softball Coaches polls.

After tying for first with Andrew Jackson and then slipping to second, Dillon’s Lady Wildcats reclaimed the top spot in the polls. Dillon is currently 8-0 in Region 8-2A. With Andrew Jackson in second, Crescent was ranked third, Buford fourth, and Landrum took fifth. Chesterfield was ranked sixth, followed by Pendleton and Barnwell, and Ninety-Six and Waccamaw tied for ninth place.

In Class A, Dixie was ranked first with East Clarendon and Lewisville tied for second. Johnsonville took fourth place and St. Joseph’s was ranked fifth.

Lake View held on to sixth place, with Fox Creek in seventh. Latta slipped to eighth this week, with McBee in ninth and Wagener-Salley in tenth.

In Class 3A, Hartsville held on to the top spot, followed by Union County, Seneca, Chapin, and Blue Ridge in the top five.

In 4A, Mauldin, Byrnes, Northwestern, Summerville, and Boiling Springs made up the top five.
