On the first day that candidates could officially file for office, several people signed up for various offices.
According to Suzie Edwards of the Dillon County Voter Registration Office, the following people had filed as of 3:30 p.m. on Monday:
Treasurer: Jamie Estes
Probate Judge: Teresa Campbell
County Council District Five: Harold Moody, Charles Taylor
County Council District Six: Andrew “Deboy” Graves, Robbie Coward
County Council District Seven: Joe Johnson, Stevie Grice, Shawn Bethea
