Two appointments were made at a recent meeting of the Dillon County Council.
Councilman T.F. “Buzzy” Finklea recommended James L. Hayes to replace Richard D. Gaddy on the Dillon County Board of Appeals. Gaddy resigned to take the position of County Finance Director. Motion was made to approve the appointment by Councilman Joe Johnson and seconded by Councilman Andrew “Deboy” Graves. The appointment was approved.
Councilman Harold Moody recommended Bobby Horne as the Grievance Committee member for District Five. Motion to approve was made by Councilman Johnson with a second by Councilman Randy Goings. The appointment was approved.
