Latta running back R.J. McClam has been chosen to play in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, January 4.
McClam rushed for over 2,005 yards and 25 touchdowns for the Vikings, who made their way to their first playoff appearance since 2003 and ended their season with a 7-4 record.
McClam has not yet committed to a college team but has offers from Missouri, S.C. State, Newberry, Charleston Southern, and Campbell.
The Offense-Defense Bowl features over 80 of the best high school football players in the country and has been broadcast live by ESPNU, Fox Sports, and Time Warner Cable. The Eighth Annual Bowl Game will be held at the Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando.
