The Dillon City Police Department has been receiving many tips in regards to the identity of the man shown here, who is a suspect in an armed robbery.
Investigator Jason Turner said the public’s help is needed to identify the man and to locate him.
Turner said citizens many call him directly at 774-0051, ext. 1031, with their information about this armed robbery suspect.
The man shown is wanted in an armed robbery that occurred on September 19 at Lil’ Bill’s, 201 Highway 301 South, Dillon, shortly after 10:30 p.m.
According to the incident report by Sgt. Monroe Herring and LCPL. T.J. Bourgoin,  the suspect came into the store, got a beer from the cooler, and asked the clerk for a pack of cigarettes.
He then pulled a gun from his pants, laid it on the counter, and got the money from the register.
The clerk was on the phone and told the person she was talking to that she was being robbed. The suspect left the store and walked towards Hampton Street. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
Anyone with any information about this case is asked to call Investigator Turner.
