Graveside services for Fairy Marion “F.M.” Matthews will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Holiness Church Cemetery in Latta.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home.
     Mr. Matthews, 67, died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
     Born in Florence County, SC, June 30, 1946, he was the son of the late Fairy Matthews and Verno Matthews.  He was a member of Trinity Holiness Church, and was retired from Schofield Hardware.
     Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Carolyn Matthews of Sellers; children, Scott Matthews of Columbia, Michael Matthews, Phillip Matthews, Angela Jordan, and Malinda Matthews, all of Florence; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Louise Lynch of Timmonsville, Josephine Baker of Florence, Bobbie Jean Mattson of Columbia, and Peggy Jean Massey of Charlotte, NC; brother, Jimmy Matthews of Timmonsville.
     Mr. Matthews joined his granddaughter Katelyn Miriam Matthews in heaven.
