Harold Junior Corson, 83, died at his home Saturday, August 10, 2013.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Pyerian Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta is assisting the family.
Mr. Corson was born in West Virginia, March 9, 1930, the son of the late Harold Zevern and Dorothy Stock Corson.
He sold and retired from the businesses he founded, Alpine Cabinets and Floor Coverings Inc., Alpine Sales Inc., and Harco Resources, Inc.  He was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Elsie Mae Dudley Corson of the home; sons, James Lee Corson of Elgin, SC, and Harold Allen “Bud” Corson (Salley) of Lugoff, SC; step-son, Ronald Fredrick Swindler, Jr. of Vernon, TX; daughters, Dorothy Jane Trettin (Rick) of Los Angeles, CA, and Bonnie Lisa Baxter of Blacksburg, SC; step-daughters, Jerri Lynn Swygert of Latta, SC, and Janie Louise Simmons of Cayce, SC; brothers, Joe Corson (Frances) of Blythewood, SC, Bill Corson (Jane) of Williamsfield, OH, and Tom Corson (Mary) of Leesville, SC; sisters, Lucy Perry of Jefferson, OH, Margaret Ann “Peggy” Mullins (Keith) of Virginia, Barbara Jordan of Wayne, OH, and Judy Rae Covert of Bedford, VA; twenty grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many, many great-great grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
