Lake View’s Wild Gators fell 62-52 to the Creek Bridge Warriors in Marion on Friday night.

Creek Bridge took a 17-15 lead in the first and widened it with a 10-7 second quarter to lead 27-22 at the half. The Warriors maintained the lead with an 18-15 third, and both teams added 15 points in the fourth to allow Creek Bridge to retain the win.

Rashawn Rogers led Creek Bridge with a game-high 21 points and Devontae Graves added 11 for the Warriors. Stanley Graves scored eight, and Demontae Gause and Miles Burnham each added six with Rajuan Woodberry earning five and Jalen Eaddy scoring three.

Chris Ford led Lake View with a team-high 16 points with Michael Paige and Darius Leonard each adding 12 and Jamal Ford scoring 10. Corenthious Brunson and Jeremy Moody each contributed one point for the Wild Gators.

Lake View slips to 3-11 overall and 1-7 overall in Region 8A, while Creek Bridge improves to 4-11 overall and 2-4 in region play.

Tonight, Lake View will travel to face Green Sea-Floyds and on Thursday, the Wild Gators will be at home to host Latta at 6:00 p.m. for the last game of the regular season. Make plans to attend to support our local teams!
