It is not often that the Dillon Christian School Warriors sweep any opposing teams in basketball but that is what they did Friday night against the visiting Saints from Scotland Christian School.

The JV Girls got things started with a come from behind 32-31 win led by the shooting of Sara Bass with 16 points and Samantha Carpenter with 9 points.

The JV Boys led the entire game, finishing with a 43-25 win margin. Jim Carr, Jake Boykin, Luke Price, and Hunter Tyner gave good performances.

The Varsity girls, led by the shooting of Lauren Lee and Amanda Bass and the rebounding of Kathryn Brown and Kylee Sullivan, resulted in a 37-28 Warrior win.

The Varsity Boys were led on offense by Will Brown, John Michael Price, and Clay Price with a strong defensive effort added by Tyler Davis, Matt Jordan, Mark Minges, and Ellison Rourke. A fan favorite, Ben Boykin scored 4 points with 2 rebounds in the fourth quarter to help the Warriors route the Saints 68-37.

The Warriors were scheduled to play their final home game Monday against Marlboro Academy and will host Christian academy tonight. On Friday, the Warriors will finish the regular season at Pee Dee Academy.
