Neighbors Feeding Neighbors Ministry is run by Hal Causey. Mr. Causey started this ministry to help support The Dillon County Council on Aging and Helping Hands Food Pantry. This Ministry started small with just three churches and a few individuals several years ago. In 2010 there were seven churches: Trinity Holiness Church of Lake View, First Baptist Church of Lake View, Hayestown Pentecostal Holiness Church of Lake View, Kemper Baptist Church of Lake View, Floyd Dale Full Gospel of Fork, Bear Swamp Baptist Church of Lake View and Lake View Pentecostal Holiness. These churches and individuals raised over $3500 to purchase a variety of Campbell’s soup products.
Last year, 2011, those contributing to this ministry went from seven churches to fourteen churches. The seven new churches that contributed were Piney Grove Baptist Church of Lake View, New Beginnings Church of McBee, Sardis Baptist Church of Latta, Bermuda Baptist Church of Bermuda, Oakland Full Gospel Holiness of Oakland Community, Trinity Holiness Church of Latta and Faith Fellowship of Wallace. These fourteen churches and individuals raised over $4,800 to purchase a variety of Campbell products. Campbell’s also donated 2500 lbs. of soup products to help Dillon County.
Mr. Causey is now again raising funds to continue this important ministry. If you would like to help a neighbor in need please send your donations to Neighbors Feeding Neighbors Ministry at 545 S. Bear Swamp Rd., Nichols, S.C. 29581. (adv.)
