S.C. 9 Improvement
The Dillon County Council recently approved a resolution concerning improvement to S.C. Highway 9, specifically making it our lanes. Councilman Bobby Moody made the motion to approve the resolution. Councilman Joe Johnson seconded the motion. All present were in favor of the motion.

Recreation Requests
Approved
The Dillon County Council approved the following recreation requests at their June 27th meeting: From Joe Johnson’s account- Floyd Dale Fire Department, $778.58, for supplies and equipment; and Aron Gandy’s account- Oak Grove Ball Park, $678.57, fence installation by Marthers’ Fence Company.

County Providing
Dumpsters For Project
The county is providing dumpsters for the Harvest Salkehatchie Camp Mission Group projects. The campers will work on six homes in Dillon County during the week to July 9-13. The request was made by the missions committee chairperson at Main Street United Methodist Church in Dillon.
