Tammy Elvington, Postmaster Hamer, SC EAS -16, has been appointed to the position of Postmaster, Dillon, SC EAS – 20. The effective date for this appointment is April 7, 2012.
Elvington began her postal career as a Casual Clerk in 1985 for the Florence P&DC and 1988 in the Greensboro GMF. In 1989, Elvington became a career employee as an MPLSM Operator for Florence.
Elvington was accepted into the ASP program in 2004 and assigned as Supervisor Customer Services for the Dillon Post Office.
Since beginning her postal career, Elvington has successfully completed detail assignments as Tour II Mail Processing Supervisor, PEG/Safety Coordinator, OIC Dillon, SC EAS-20, Delivery Supervisor and Greater SC HR Support Generalist.
Elvington has extensive knowledge, experience and training in Customer Service, Delivery, Human Resources and Mail Processing.
Elvington is a graduate of Calvary Christian School of Hartsville and has studied Computer Sciences in Florence Darlington Technical College and holds a Certification from Northeastern Technical College in Dillon.
