This week’s recipe is another from my mother’s recipe box. It was one of Polly Martin’s recipes and Molly was a wonderful cook.
Apple Cranberry Casserole
1 cup of sugar
3 cups of apples (peeled and diced)
2 cups of raw cranberries
1 cup of oatmeal
1 stick of margarine, melted
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of self-rising flour
Mix sugar, apples, and cranberries. Pour into a baking dish. Add melted margarine to brown sugar, oatmeal, and flour. Mix and pour over apples and cranberries. Bake one hour at 350 degrees.
