In January, the Stewart Heights library was the scene of a special celebration of the love of reading.
The theme was “Reading Is Out Of This World”. Tables were full of colorful story books. Children took their time looking at each book and then chose one specific book to take home and keep forever. The books were provided by the Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) book program and Dillon School District Four. Every student received a theme related prize and then they had fun spinning a wheel for a chance to win an additional prize. Community volunteers were Linda Weatherford, Nancy Dickens, Johnsie Stidd and Kaye Woodberry
