The Dillon County Council accepted two agreements at their meeting on Wednesday regarding a strategic plan and consultant series.
The Dillon County Strategic Plan agreement says “The North Eastern Strategic Alliance (NESA) is to facilitate the creation of a strategic plan for Marlboro Electric Cooperative and Dillon County. Marlboro Electric Cooperative will provide up to $75,000 to NESA for this activity. NESA will actively engage both Dillon County and Marlboro Electric to devise the goals and objectives sought by the county through the creation of the plan. NESA will issue a solicitation in accordance with South Carolina State Procurement Code to contract with a consultant to develop a strategic plan for the county and will manage the process.”
