Dillon Christian School’s Lady Warriors fell to Trinity Collegiate’s Lady Titans 37-20 on Tuesday night in Dillon.
The two teams finished the first quarter 7-7, but Trinity pulled ahead in the second by outscoring the Warriors 12-3. The Titans widened the gap with a 7-4 third quarter and sealed the win by outscoring DCS 11-6 in the fourth.
Katherine Farrell led the Lady Titans with 12 points with Brenne Fisher adding seven and Gabrielle McElveen earning six points with 15 rebounds. S.B. Fort also earned six points, with Courtney Alcorn scoring four and Janie Fuller getting two for Trinity.
Amanda Bass led the Lady Warriors with a team-high eight points, with Lauren Lee adding five, Emily Prutzman scoring four, and Kylee Sullivan netting three.
Trinity Collegiate improves to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in SCISA Region 4-AA. Dillon Christian slips to 2-13 with a 1-5 record in the region.
The Lady Warriors will next take on the Eagles at Pee Dee Academy on Friday. On Tuesday, January 17, the Warriors will be back at home to host The Kings Academy with junior varsity action beginning at 4:00 p.m. with varsity girls playing at 6:00 p.m. Make plans to attend to support our local teams!
