LAKE VIEW—An armed robbery occurred at the Dollar General in Lake View on December 13 at approximately 6 p.m., according to Chief James T. McDaniels.
Officer Russell G. Hubbard Jr. was dispatched to armed robbery at the Dollar General. He was assisted by Lt. Michael D. Jackson.
The clerk said the man was wearing all black clothing and had run into Lake View Apartments.
The officer went to the complex and found a black hoodie, a pair of brown cloth gloves, and a black toboggan.
Deputies from the Dillon County Sheriff’s came to assist. They were Cpl. Tash Pettway, First Sgt. Johnnie Mae Smith, Cpl. Melvin Lee, Pfc. Troy Jones and Pvt. Henry Lee.
The suspect is unknown at this time.
