A second fire occurred at The Player’s Club late Thursday night/early Friday morning.
The Herald is told that a Dillon County fireman coded at the fire, but was revived and was alive at about 1:30 a.m. when The Herald learned this information. The fireman’s status was not known at the time of this 2:30 a.m. posting, and his name had not yet been released.
No further details available about the fire as firefighters were still battling the fire at the time of this report.
The first fire at the club occurred on Wednesday afternoon. The Herald was told by Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday that this first fire was suspicious and SLED had been assisting in the investigation of the first fire.
The Player’s Club is located off Highway 9 West in Dillon.
