Farm-City Week will be held the week of November 21, 2011. It is a local community program with the goal of enhancing a better understanding between rural and urban residents by encouraging our residents to join us on a tour of selected city and county areas of interest and joining us for a complimentary lunch.
This event is organized by the Dillon Kiwanis Club, Dillon County Chamber of Commerce, Dillon Soil and Water Conservation District and Dillon County Clemson Extension Service.
Farm-City events are grassroots in nature and held across this nation offering the opportunity for residents to share in the unique bond that unites our food and manufacturing families.
Members of the Farm-City Week Committee are: Johnnie Luehrs- Overall Chairperson, Steve Anderson, June Arnette, Bill Aston, Cullen Bryant, Roger Cooper, Johnnie Daniels, Wes Daniels, Trish DeHond, Betsy Finklea, Phyllis Hardwick, Darryl Miller, Billy Massengale, Jimbo McLellan, Jean Norris, Kelly Price, Grady Sampson, Bradley Smith, and Lelia Smith.
