Mrs. Hardwick, the daughter of the late Robert Franklin and Lola Anna Williams Richardson, was born in Marion County. Mrs. Hardwick was a member of Kemper Baptist Church. She was a long term employee in the cafeteria at the Lake View High School. She spent most of her life working on the farm and taking care of her husband and children.
She was a very loving, kind, compassionate Christian. She loved people and people loved her. She loved her flowers and birds. She loved her family, never favoring one child over the other. She loved her church family, and she always encouraged people to go to church. She taught Sunday School at one time. Even while at the Pines, she read and studied her lessons. Devotional readings were a part of every day for her. She loved her God, and she worshipped him in spirit and in truth.
Mrs. Hardwick is survived by her children, Howard (Anne) Hardwick, of Tampa, Florida; Earline (Mitchel) Webb, of Orrum, North Carolina; Wayne Hardwick, of Lake View, South Carolina; Paul H. Hardwick, of Lake View, South Carolina ; Robert (Sue) Hardwick of Charlotte, North Carolina; Doris (Laverne) Martin, of Winston Salem, North Carolina; and Harold Gene Hardwick, of Lake View, South Carolina. She also had seven Grandchildren, eleven Great Grandchildren, and two Great -Great Grandchildren.

A special thanks to the staff of The Pines Nursing Home, Rosa of United Hospice, and to a special friend, Mr. Bill Lee.
Although Mrs. Hardwick loved all types of flowers, it was her wish that memorials be sent to Kemper Baptist Church, PO Box 247, Lake View, SC 29563 and to The Dillon County Chapter of the Gideon’s, PO Box 111, Dillon, SC 29536.
