On May 21, the T.Y.L.A. Program sponsored a vent session discussing criminal background issues, how they have affected your life.
A lot of the clients opened up about their past, that after you have completed your legal sentence that society gives you an additional sentence that tears you down mentally and spiritually.
Eddie Holden (Director) labeled the session as a success, discussed with the clients how many doors were closed in his face when he got into trouble, and that is the reason why he’s so passionate about helping others.
There were numerous awards given out to clients who gained employment through the program.
Now that the healing process has started the program, its’ clients can go to the next level. The T.Y.L.A. continues on the road of “Giving Hope to the Hopeless.”
