Jane Daniels (Tink) Bellamy, age 54, passed away May 20, 2011 after a valiant fight with lung cancer.
Born March 19, 1957 to her surviving mother Aileene Anderson and her late father Lila Daniels, Sr. Jane was known by many for her outrageous laughter and “big mouth”. Some describe her as “mean as a rattlesnake” while her husband simply described her as “sassy”. She shouldered much responsibility and worked hard during all the years of her life. She took pride in her independence and fought her fight with cancer with dignity.
Jane is survived by her husband, Harvey Bellamy; 3 children, Joseph Ashley, Tina Lynn Richards, and Samantha Ashley; brothers, Lila “Skeeter” Daniels, Jr. and Randy Lane; 6 grandchildren, Caleb Howell, Melissa Richards, Caitlyn Ashley, Amber McKettrick, Kaylee McKettrick, and Robert McKettrick, Jr.
A special note of appreciation is extended to Dr. Sitti and the McLeod Hospice staff that provided her with exceptional care and consideration during her fight. Additional loving thankfulness should be extended to her mother Aileene and to Tammy Daniels for caring for her during her times of extensive Chemotherapy/ Radiation and in the administering of pain medication.
Funeral services were held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation were held 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
