Tennessee Treats
• 1 pound lean hamburger
• 1 pound sausage
• 1 pound Velveeta cheese
• 1 loaf party rye bread

Brown hamburger and drain well.
Brown sausage, drain well and then combine the two meats.
Cut Velveeta into chunks and add to meats in skillet. Heat at low temperature until cheese melts, stirring occasionally.
Top bread slices with a heaping tablespoon of meat mixture. Place on cookie sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
Pieces may then be transferred to a plastic freezer bag. They do not stick together and the topping will stay on the bread. Return to freezer.
To serve, heat for 7-10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
Do not heat in microwave!
I made these last week, and they went over quite well.
