Services for Mary Tyler Goodwin will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Goodwin, 76, died Friday, April 8, 2011 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon, October 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Frank Byrd Tyler and Irene Richardson Tyler. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, was retired from Franco Manufacturing Company, and was the widow of the late Horace Goodwin.
Survivors include her daughter, Betsy Goodwin Jones (Michael) of Dillon; son, Horace Steven Goodwin (Susan) of Dillon; grandchildren, Amanda Jones Jackson (Darren) of Conway, Christina Jones Caulder (Robert) of Florence, and Jessica Goodwin Johnson (Michael) of Latta; great-grandchildren, Madison Leigh Jackson, and Sarah Elizabeth Jackson, both of Conway, Reid Lawson Caulder of Florence, and Austin Michael Johnson of Latta; sister, Reba Dodson of Fayetteville, NC; brothers, William “Sonny” Tyler (Chris) of Canton, GA, and James Earl Tyler (Ramona) of Hickson, TN.
