Turnout was extremely low in the two races for the Dillon City Council on Tuesday with just a little over 10 percent of the voters casting ballots.
In District One, James “Bobie” Washington won with 84 votes. His opponent, Lenora I. Wright got 13 votes.
In District Two, Connie L. Manning won the seat previously held by Randolph Gurley with 38 votes. Her opponent, James “Butch” McInnis got 32 votes.
They are expected to be sworn in at the May meeting of the Dillon City Council.
