Bryant “Buddy” Allen, 88, went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Funeral services were held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be private in Evergreen Perpetual Care Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation was held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, SC, June 7, 1935, he was the son of the late John Allen and Hattie Whittington Allen. He was a member of the Dillon Church of God, and was retired from Dixiana Mills.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Barbara Daniels Allen of Dillon; daughters, Polly Allen Elkins (James Neil) of Dillon, and Sylvia Allen Lawson (Anthony) of Florence; granddaughter, Kristen Lawson Bowers (Daniel) of Cleveland, TN; great-grandson, Fischer Rhett Bowers.
