Rev. Leroy Russ, 77, passed away Sunday, November 19,2023 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Church of True Faith Cemetery in Fork. Visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Born in Dillon County, SC, July 3, 1946, he was the son of the late Steve Russ and Mamie Cook Russ. He was a member of Church of True Faith where he was the Pastor.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Russ of Fork; daughters, Kathy Russ Myers (Wesley), and Sandy Russ Williams; grandchildren, Danielle Myers Rowell, Patrick Myers, Matthew O’Neal Williams, and Tyler Lee Williams; great-grandchildren, Paeton Myers, Lucas Myers, Noah Myers, Leighton Mae Rowell, Liam Rowell, and Leighton Lee Williams; sister, Alice Faye Meares, and Helen Miller; brothers, Wylie Russ, and Carl Russ
Rev. Russ was preceded in death by his parents, Steve & Mamie Russ; granddaughter, Maranda Leigh-Ann Myers; sisters, Betty Humphrey, and Frances Lawhon; and brother, Charles Russ.
