For this year’s VBS, Mount Calvary Baptist Church presents “Stellar, Shine Jesus’ Light.” Each day children and youth gather at Sing and Play Blast Off for songs, dances, skits, and mission offering. Our mission project this year will be for Dillon County Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
There are classes for ages 2-3 through youth with a senior adult ladies class. The 2-3 year olds explore at their own pace and level in a classroom all their own. Graded groups are based on the grade completed this past year in school. The youth meet upstairs in the Youth Room. Each day children will learn to shine Jesus’ Light in all situations:
Day 1: When life feels dark.
Day 2: When people don’t get along.
Day 3: When good things happen.
Day 4: When people are sad.
Day 5: When people need help.
At “Stellar,” children participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, experience cool Bible adventures, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids visit the KidVid Cinema and take a train ride through the parking lot. Each day concludes at 8:30 with Cosmic Closing. Children will be dismissed to parents each evening from the double doors at the gym.
“Stellar” begins on Sunday, June 4 and continues through Thursday, June 8 from 6:00 until 8:30 each evening. Registration begins each evening at 6:00. Supper will be served to children who attend VBS at 6:00.
Get ready for an amazing week of adventure at “Stellar!” The public is cordially invited to come.
Mount Calvary Baptist Church is located two miles east of Dillon just off Highway number 9.
