The Northeastern Technical College (NETC) Board of Area Commissioners has announced a tuition freeze for the 2023-24 academic year.
This decision was made to help alleviate the financial burden on students and families who are striving to achieve their academic goals.
The tuition freeze will be effective for all students, regardless of their program or residency status.
This means that in-state and out-of-state students, as well as those enrolled in certificate, diploma, and degree programs, will all benefit from this freeze.
“Our goal at NETC is to provide our students with access to quality education that is both affordable and accessible,” said Dr. Kyle Wagner, President of NETC. “By freezing tuition rates for the upcoming academic year, we hope to make it easier for students to continue their education without worrying about the financial impact.”
The tuition freeze is also part of NETC’s commitment to supporting the economic growth and development of the region. By making higher education more accessible and affordable, the college hopes to help prepare the next generation of skilled workers and professionals who will help drive the local economy forward.
“We understand the financial challenges that many families are facing in these uncertain times,” said Dr. Wagner. “We want to do everything we can to support our students and their families as they pursue their academic and career goals.”
NETC is a comprehensive two-year college that offers a range of academic programs, including associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and serves students in Chesterfield, Marlboro, and Dillon Counties.
