Services for Gladys I. Suggs were held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Suggs, 88, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the Pruitt Health in Dillon.
Born in Dillon County, SC, January 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Garrison Ivey and Ressie Cook Ivey. She was a member of Congregational Holiness Church, and was retired as an Assistant Manager at Family Dollar.
Survivors include her daughter, Marie Carnes (James) of Dillon; son, Rodney Suggs (Tami) of Cheraw, SC; adopted grandson, Chris Jacobs; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
