Rules at Page’s Mill Pond was discussed at the Lake View Town Council meeting recently.
The pond is currently being treated for vegetation which involves spraying, Mayor Dennis Townsend said. Fishing is limited.
People are asking to use the pond, and the council needs to come up with rules.
If SCDNR stocks the pond, there will be a period of time when fishing is not allowed.
It was discussed whether to set hours.
Possible rules and a plan of action will be discussed at the next meeting
