Latta Baptist Church and pastor Rob Pierce hosted the 6th annual regional Christian marriage retreat “A Weekend of Encouragement!” At the Doubletree by Hilton in Myrtle Beach on February 4-5, 2022.
Dr. Bob Weathers was the guest speaker and his presentation was titled ‘5 Myths that Make Marriage Miserable’. His presentation dealt with false beliefs that we have about marriage that are based on our culture and not on God’s word.
The Latta Baptist Praise Team led the group of 45 couples in a time of singing praises before each session began.
Couples in attendance were from Greenville, Greenwood, Greer, Charlotte, Ocean Isle Beach, Florence, Latta, Dillon, and one couple in attendance was from Cape Giradeau, Missouri!
The next retreat is open to all married couples and will be in late January or early February next year.
