Services for Earline S. Owens will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 at Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church with burial in Pyerian Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Owens, 83, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Marion County, SC, May 14, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Junior Cleve Sweat and Gertrude Lane Sweat. She was a member of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, JoAnna McDonald of Latta and Betty Sweatt of Dillon; son, Ronnie “Termite” Owens of Gatlinburg, TN; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; special friend, Frank Bethea; brother, Carols Sweat of Dillon; sisters, Dorothy Sweat of Dillon and Patricia Sweat of Florence; half-brother, Floyd Sweat of Hope Mills, NC.
Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Owens, Jr.; sons, Bobby Sweatt, Billy Owens, Don Owens, and Baby James Owens; and grandson, Chad Owens.
