Each year, a group led by local veteran, Levern Hayes, places flags on the graves of local veterans.
The volunteers pictured here are ones who place American flags on Veterans’ graves for Veterans Day this year.
The flags are placed one week before Veterans Day and are removed one week after Veterans Day.
Levern Hayes and his volunteers are to be commended for their efforts in recognizing and remembering our veterans who are now deceased.
