THIS WHEAT FIELD, north of Lake View, on Highway 41 recently burned. The owner was actually cutting the wheat at the time it started. It was averaging 60 bushels, and they lost about 10 acres. Dillon County Station Three helped out tremendously. The owner believes that it was started by a cigarette. The public is urged not to dispose of cigarettes by throwing them out of the window of your vehicle. (Contributed Photo)
