Services for Lois H. Allen will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Catfish Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allen, 76, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Carolina’s Hospital System in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, December 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Aaron Hinson and Sadie McDaniel Hinson. She was a member of Catfish Creek Baptist Church, and was a retired Bookkeeper. She was the widow of the late Ralph Henry Allen.
Survivors include her sons, Ronnie McDonald of Blenheim, and Wayne McDonald of Latta; step-son, Ralph H. “Bud” Allen of Tallahassee, FL; granddaughter, Beth McDonald of Florence; brother, Monroe Hinson of Dillon; aunt, Catherine Proctor of Dillon; step-grandchildren, Rachel and Melanie of Georgia; nieces and nephews.
