Graveside services for Barbara Ray Campbell will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell, 77, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, February 10, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Vernie Lowden Ray and Katie Mae Cain Ray. She was a member of Dillon Second Baptist Church, and was retired from Dixiana Mills.
Survivors include her brother, Jim Ray of Florence; step-daughter, Cindy Byrd of Longs, SC; step-sons, Barney Campbell (Jennifer), and Glenn Campbell (Marilyn), both of Dillon; niece, Teresa Ray of Switzerland; nephew, Bobby (Sharon) Ray of Latta; grandson, Justin King (April Snead) of Dillon; great-grandchildren, Anastin, Aubree, and Ava King; son-in-law, Jerome King.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, John Hugh Campbell; daughter, Betty Ann King; her stepson, Stephen Campbell, and her brother, Bill Ray.
Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 1016 Highway 301 South, Dillon, SC 29536.
