Dillon School District Four is excited to announce that they will be providing Windows tablets to all students for the 2020-2021 School Year.
A small fee of $10.00 will be required of every student. Dillon School District Four has been using Teams and Skooler but will also be using that LMS (Learning Management System) to provide remote instruction to students if needed.
DSD4 was one of five school districts in the country to be chosen by Microsoft to receive Skooler.
The district was excited to be able to receive an LMS for our teachers and students.
Teachers are receiving intensive training on virtual instruction over the summer in preparation for remote instruction if it is needed.
Single sign on, which provides easy access to District resources, is in process of being installed and will be ready for the start of the school year. Hotspots will be provided to households that meet the South Carolina Department of Education criteria. Videos on utilizing the district resources are being developed for parents and will help provide the extra support for remote instruction if needed.
