Services for Alice Ruth Huggins will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with burial in Pyerian Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Huggins, 71, died Friday, January 7, 2011 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, March 22, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Hubbard Watson and Mamie Bryant Watson. She was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church and was the widow of the late Henry Allen Huggins.
Survivors include her son, Ricky (Christine) Huggins of Marion; grandsons, Caylon Huggins and Brad Wiggins; great-grandson, Braydon Boyd.
Mrs. Huggins was preceded in death by her son, Danny Ray Huggins; and her grandson, Robert Allen Huggins.
