Lake View High School senior Taylor Herlong claimed the title of 2010 North-South All-Star Football Princess at this year’s North-South Game held at Doug Shaw Stadium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Saturday, December 11, 2010.

Hundreds of senior female applicants from across the state were judged on academic standing, community service, and extra-curricular activities in competition for this honor. The ten finalists were further analyzed by a panel of judges in private interview sessions held on the Friday of the North-South activities and were presented at the North-South Football Awards Ceremony held at Myrtle Beach High School on the evening of December 10.

As first runner-up to the queen, Taylor will receive a $500 scholarship to the college of her choice.
