City Manager Glen Wagner informed the council at their October meeting that the city would be tearing down the old warehouse donated to the city by the Bethea family. The roof of the tin building was caving in, and there was no electricity. The city uses the building to store the recyclables and garbage cans. Once torn down, the city would fence in a portion and put a top over it for the city’s use. The structure was not safe in its current condition. (Source: City of Dillon October Council Minutes)
