Fork Presbyterian Church enjoyed a music program presented by the Miller Family on September 11.
Jim, Martha, and their daughter, Amberly, are from Effingham, South Carolina. They are members of Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church in Effingham. They have been singing together for 33 years.
Jim Miller accompanies the family with the guitar. Their daughter sang “The Cross”, “He Lives”, I’ll Fly Away”, and “I Need Thee Every Hour”. The congregation joined in singing with her when she would get to the chorus of each song. Martha and Jim sang “One Day Jesus Will Call My Name”, “When the Clouds Roll Back”, “Lay My crown”, “The Blood’s Still There”, “In the Time You Gave Me”, and “Oh, How I Love Jesus”.
Amberly was going to celebrate her 30th birthday in a few days so the congregation stood and sang “Happy Birthday” to her. Tears came in her eyes when she tried to say “Thank you very much.”
Following the program everyone went to the Fellowship Hall and enjoyed the evening meal.
The Millers’ songs and testimonies were a blessing for everyone there.
