City of Dillon Downtown Development Director Bridget Thornton reported to the Dillon City Council recently about the Pine Street Neighborhood Project.
The City of Dillon received a Community Development Block Grant for Pine Street Neighborhood Revitalization in the amount of $490,050.
Thornton said they were in the permit phase of the project. They must get permits from SCDOT, DHEC, and other entities.
When they have the permits in hand, the engineering firm will send out the bids, which will take about 30 days and handle the process.
The construction will begin around November.
